DMKZ
Hailing from Brazil, DMKZ is a dynamic DJ and producer who began captivating audiences in 2007 with his performances at private events and nightclubs in Brussels, the city he proudly calls home. In 2015, he took a hiatus from the music scene to embark on a business venture in Belgium. Yet, his devotion to music never waned, leading him to dabble in production and ultimately marking his grand resurgence in 2020.
In that pivotal year, DMKZ dropped his debut tracks, “Arriba” (garnering nearly 40,000 streams independently) and “So Everybody” (amassing close to 250,000 streams via Spinnup), both crafted to electrify dance floors with their exuberant energy. His work is a testament to the Brazilian bass genre, infused with trumpet sounds that echo the fiery Latin rhythms.
The following year, 2021, signified a transformative shift in DMKZ’s musical direction. His releases took on a more melodic tone, weaving in acoustic guitar strums and captivating vocals, yet preserving the signature sound that’s earning him global recognition. Standout tracks include “Dark room” (surpassing 75,000 streams), “Not feeling in the dark” (nearing 150,000 streams through Spinnup), and the latest hit “Alive” (over 150,000 streams by Add Music). Presently, DMKZ enjoys a growing fanbase with nearly 25,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
Adding to his impressive portfolio, in 2022, DMKZ took the international music scene by storm, performing at the illustrious Tomorrowland and the ADE – Amsterdam Dance Event, further cementing his status as a formidable force in the electronic music world.
